Yes, Thanksgiving is over and the holiday season is now upon
us! What better way to celebrate than to join your dance friends at
the CSDS Holiday Dance on Saturday, December 18th at Unity Church?!
In keeping with tradition, our dance is a POTLUCK dance (optional, if
you are so inclined, bring a dish to share!) and dressy attire
encouraged.
Rumor has it that Swing Swap DJ Lisa Morales will bring her famous hot
crab dip again (hint, hint!)!! Kristin Wenger returns to teach the
pre-dance lessons (Nightclub 2-Step, 6:30 & 7:15 pm) and to DJ
the dance (8-11 pm). See you then!

C'ville Dancers Fare Well in Competition at VSO
Charlottesville area dancers put on a good showing recently
at Barry Durand's Virginia State Open dance event in Northern
Virginia! This was Barry's last time to put on VSO; next year, MAD Jam (March
2011) promoter Dave Moldover takes over Barry's Swing Fling (August)
and VSO (November). Thanks, Barry, for so many years of fun, great
memories and dancing! And congratulations, to all of those who
competed. Complete competition results will be available soon here. Below
are a few of our area dancers on the competition floor.

Florida Dance Event in November! by Adela Su
Kristin, Eddie and I attended Tampa Bay Classic in
early November. It doesn't get any better than that ... a dance
event held at a beachside resort in warm, sunny Florida in
November!! We had so much fun we hope to return next year :-)
