Returns in February
It's our Annual Illumination Dance ~ wear your lights!!
 National Pro Jason Barnes and his lovely wife, Amy, return
to Charlottesville this month to teach 4 workshops (1 Country 2-Step, 1
Hustle and 2 West Coast Swing) and attend our Catered Dinner
and Illumination Dance, all on Saturday, February 20th at the
Municipal Arts Center located at 1119 Fifth Street SW in
Charlottesville. Workshops will start at 2 pm and finish up before
the dance starts at 8 pm. Workshops are $15 each per
person ($12 for Students w/ID) and we'll also be offering our Dance
Junkie Special again ~ $60 for all 4 Workshops, Dinner + Dance Admission
($48 for Students), what a bargain!
Here's the Tentative Schedule:
2:00-2:30 pm - Registration/Warm-Up Music
2:30-3:30 pm - Workshop #1 - Country 2-Step
3:45-4:45 pm - Workshop #2 - Hustle
5:00-6:00 pm - Workshop #3 - West Coast Swing Technique
6:00-7:00 pm - Dinner Break (Catered Dinner Available,
details TBA)
7:00-8:00 pm - Workshop #4 - West Coast Swing
Details are being finalized and complete information and
Registration Form will be sent to you soon. In the meantime, save
the date ~ Saturday, February 20th!
Jason is also available to give Private Lessons by
appointment only. Contact Larry Saunders to
schedule a private with Jason.

Highlights from the January Dance
Wow, did we have fun or what?! Our January
lessons and dance set a new attendance record! Adela Su and
Roger Harris taught three Circle Dances to a packed
house, Jeff Haas and Erica Shergold performed their beautiful
West Coast Swing routine, and DJ Jeff Freeman and his lovely
assistant, Mary Rose Serafini, dazzled the crowd with their electrifying
music and flashing lights. What a great way to start off the New
Year! Thank you to everyone who came and to those behind the scenes
making it all happen. We're looking forward to next month when Pro
Jason Barnes returns for a spectacular Workshop Weekend (details
above).

(Sweetheart Schottische, Cowboy Cha Cha, Longbranch Hustle) are posted on
the CSDS website.
