Annual Holiday Dance This
Month!
Put on your holiday
finest and come to our annual
Holiday Dance on December
13th (note: it's the 2nd Saturday!) at the
GOC. Our December dance is a favorite
of many so join us in celebrating the holiday season with DJ
Kristin Wenger and the rest of the dance crew!
Festive attire is encouraged and bring a dish to share if you
can. Rumor has it Lisa Morales will bring her
famous crab dip so you definitely want to come for that!
Have some time to
spare? We need HELP to decorate
the dance hall starting at 2 pm. It's fun, it's
exciting, great music & yummy snacks! Contact
Ginny or
Adela if you can help us out.
Swing Swap
~ December
Schedule
Swing Swap will take place on Thursday,
December 4th and 11th, take a break for the holidays
and will resume on Thursday, January 8th in the New
Year! |
2009 Admission Prices Increase By
$1
Starting with our January
dance, admission prices will increase by $1. This is the
first increase in maaany years and is necessary for CSDS to
continue to put on our monthly dances and other
events. The new admission prices are:

$13
Non-Members
$7
Students with ID
Membership dues remain the
same at $15/year. If you are not a member,
we encourage you to become a member to support our
all-volunteer run club! Memberships Forms are available

Highlights from the November Dance &
Workshop Weekend with Jennifer!
We had another successful and
well-attended dance and Workshop Weekend with national
pro/instructor, Jennifer Lyons! At final count, about 70
people attended the workshops with some driving as long
as 2+ hours to get here. DJ Stacy Suter did his usual
fabulous job spinning the tunes and thanks to Kevin &
Lisa, we resurrected a good ole favorite, the Barn Dance
toward the end of the evening! Say, anyone remember the
couples dances, the Schottishe or the Long Branch Hustle, or
the line dance, Heartbreak Strut?! Maybe we can do one
of those at the December holiday dance .... see you
then!
