at the GOC (Greek Orthodox Church Fellowship Hall) at 100 Perry Drive. Our DJ is Robin Grimsby. Pre-dance lessons are a Jennifer Lyons Workshop Review by Cathleen Rhodes & Adela Su at 6:30 pm, and Beginner West Coast Swing by Robin at 7:15 pm. Our dance is 8-11 pm. |

Hey, can you lend a hand (or two!)?! Be a part of something not only helpful but fun - opening and closing for our dances! The CSDS Crew has a great time setting up and munching on goodies brought by the Snack Fairy, all done to the beat of groovy dance tunes. What a wonderful way to give back to the dance club and community! Setup usually starts one hour before the pre-dance lesson(s). Remember, more hands make for less work! 2008-2009 Board Of Directors Elected
CSDS is pleased to present our 2008-2009 Board Of Directors! New Directors are Pam Brice, Cathy Burrier and Lisa Grant. We welcome back returning Directors Cathleen Rhodes, Larry Saunders, Ginny Larson and Mark DeBow. Officers will be elected at the April Board of Directors meeting. In addition to our Directors, CSDS is fortunate to have a trusty stable of Helpers - David Boyd, Beth DeBow, Debra Fisher, Leon Gorman, Lisa Morales and Adela Su. These fine individuals look forward to serving you in the upcoming year and to continuing the tradition of providing excellent dance opportunities for our Membership.

DJ/Emcee Ken Roesel kept things rolling smoothly at our March dance, with the performance by The Charlottesville Showdowns, announcements and our Annual Election of Board of Directors. Thanks Ken, for another fabulous evening!

Need to Practice?! Come to Swing Swap!!
.. it's FREE ... every Thursday ... no partner necessary ...
CSDS hosts a FREE weekly dance practice called Swing Swap*!! If you are like most people, you need to practice what you learn in dance class in order to retain it. Come on out and practice your new moves while they are fresh in your mind so they can become a permanent part of your dance repertoire! Swing Swap is held on Thursdays* from 7:30 - 9 pm at the Murray High School Gym, located at 1200 Forest Street. DJ Lisa Morales plays a variety of music ~ East Coast Swing, West Coast Swing, Hustle, Nightclub 2-Step, Country 2-Step, Cha Cha, Waltz, etc. Swing Swap is a relaxed and friendly atmosphere for practice. All are welcome, with or without partners, any level of experience!
